Photography

Photography gave me the courage to step out of my comfort zone. Today, it allows me to share my perspective.

Food

The Project
Growing up, my parents loved spending time cooking in our family kitchen. From these hours spent helping and watching them cook I developed a love for food and photographing it. I am drawn to food photography because I am able to capture the social and cultural aspects that food represents.

Dance

The Project
I love capturing the powerful moments in dance. Having been a dancer myself, I have a deep appreciation for movement – both on stage and off. The images here are from my work with Fred Astaire Ballroom Dance Studios and exploring dance through New York.

Travel

The Project
At 17 years old, I had the incredible opportunity to spend my junior year of high school living with an Italian family in Viterbo, Italy. Not only did this give me the confidence to step outside of my comfort zone, but also sparked a travel bug in me. Subsequently, I have jumped on any chance I get to explore different places and always have my camera at my hip as it gives me security in unfamiliar places. Wherever I am able to travel, I set photography goals for myself about what subjects to focus on, from action shots to human interactions to landscapes.
